Hours earned on car rentals can be used for cars; hours earned on tricycle rentals can be used for tricycles. You can choose a different model within the same category.
Your balance is personal. Hours cannot be transferred to another person or between categories.

Questions about bonus hours
When are bonus hours credited?
Usually within 24 hours after your paid rental ends. We credit 3 bonus hours for every paid rental day. In some cases, it may take up to two weeks for the bonus hours to appear.
Do I need to rent for eight days at once?
No. Hours add up across multiple rentals. For example, 3 paid days followed by 5 paid days on your next trip earn 24 hours — one free rental day.
Can I choose a different model?
Yes, within the same category. Car bonus hours can be used for another car, and tricycle bonus hours for another tricycle. Hours cannot be transferred between categories.
Can I use bonus hours in summer?
Yes. The programme applies all year round, including summer and holidays. A vehicle must be available for your dates, so please arrange your rental with our team in advance.
How long are the programme and bonus hours valid?
The programme starts on 1 November 2026. The company may end the programme early at its discretion. Each credit is valid for 24 months from the end date of the corresponding rental. Hours with the earliest expiry date are used first.
Can I give my hours to a friend?
Bonus hours are personal and may only be used by the customer who earned them.
Do free rental days earn bonus hours?
No. If a rental includes both paid and bonus days, new hours are earned only on the paid portion.
How can I check my balance and use bonus hours?
Contact the KeyCar team. We will check your balance and vehicle availability and arrange your bonus days. If you book on the website, tell our team that you would like to use bonus hours.
